  'Wrekin, mighty giant.....'

Come along and join us!

Come and join one of the friendliest orchestras in the area!

We do not have a formal audition process. Instead, you are warmly invited to attend two or three rehearsals to play with us and meet existing members. Our wind section is currently fully subscribed, however we are in need of more string players, particularly cellos and a regular double bass.*See Recruitment item below.* We would also welcome a regular percussion player.

Formal musical qualifications are not a requirement but a standard equivalent to Grade 5 or above is probably necessary to play most of the music we tackle.

We rehearse at Chilcott Gardens, Bridgnorth Road, Madeley on Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (with a break half way through for refreshments).

Click here to locate Chilcott Gardens on the streetmap. Postcode ref TF7 4LU.

If you would like more details of our activities, musical and social, please telephone Nigel Conner on 01952 592224 or email nigel.conner@tiscali.co.uk

If you are unable to join the Orchestra as a playing member but would like to support the Orchestra on a regular basis in another way, why not consider joining the FRIENDS?

Benefits include tickets to each of our concerts and advance information about concerts and social events. Click here for further information.
